ERP modernization at Marel Polska: Dynamics 365 BC provides a modern, stable, and compliant environment.
Intersys carried out an ERP environment upgrade for Marel Polska, involving migration from an older version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The project covered sales, purchasing, warehousing, accounting, and reporting, with a particular focus on master data quality, regulatory compliance, and process standardization. The result was a stable and modern ERP environment, providing a solid foundation for further digitization and the path to Business Central.
Modern ERP at Marel Polska – Dynamics 365 BC for process standardization and digitization
Intersys migrated from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central, standardizing data, warehouse, and financial processes. The project ensured full regulatory compliance, high data quality, consistent pricing policies, and reporting readiness (VAT, JPK, Intrastat).
Quality strategy and end-to-end testing
The Fit-to-Standard approach with "quality over quantity" migration enabled the implementation of consistent product categories and extensive final testing.
Standardization of data and processes
Basic data, tax identification numbers, addresses, document numbering, as well as warehouse and logistics processes and pricing policies have been organized.
ERP upgrade to Dynamics 365 BC
Migration from NAV eliminated technical limitations, standardized processes, and prepared a modern ERP environment.
Regulatory compliance and reporting
The implementation ensured full compliance with VAT, JPK, Intrastat, and triangular transactions, and prepared the environment for financial analysis.
The "quality over quantity" strategy enabled data cleansing and the implementation of consistent product categories and pricing policies.
The success of the project resulted from combining the Fit-to-Standard approach on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform with the necessary improvements for VAT, numbering, and three-party transactions. The whole process was confirmed by extensive end-to-end testing, which also included CIT, GUS, and NBP reporting.
