Objectivity is a multinational IT company with British roots, operating since 1991. It specializes in software, digital transformation and IT consulting, serving clients globally.
The new system enabled scalability, standardized processes and data, supporting international expansion and efficiency.
Before implementation, the key problem was the limited scalability of the Hansa system, which did not support international expansion and did not integrate with software sales and delivery processes. An additional challenge was the dispersion of processes across multiple applications, such as OPOPO, JIRA, and MENDIX, which led to data duplication and reporting difficulties. The lack of uniform standards in the area of finance and accounting, differences between companies and legal locations, and the lack of a single source of truth for financial and project data required a comprehensive transformation.
Several factors contributed to the success of the project: a consistent phased approach that minimized risk.
After completing the first stage of implementation, Objectivity gained a stable financial and accounting system in a cloud model, covering companies in Poland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Mauritius, and Rwanda. Standardization of the chart of accounts, dimensions, and numbering simplified reporting and period closings, while integration with Power BI improved access to data and analytics. The organization gained a single source of truth for finance and a foundation for further consolidation of purchasing and project processes, which increased control, predictability, and scalability of operations.
Close cooperation between Objectivity's finance, IT, and PMO teams and Intersys experts was crucial.
It ensured both that the solution was tailored to real needs and that stability was maintained in a multi-company and multi-location environment.
