Steel.S Poland

Steel.S Poland Sp. z o.o. operates in the steel industry, specializing in the production of metal products. The project concerned support for the company's operational and financial activities.

Intersys has implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with a manufacturing module at Steel.S Poland.

The project included parameterization of the Manufacturing area, standardization of BOM and markup structures, ordering of resource planning and scheduling, as well as streamlining of warehouse logistics and automation of financial processes. As a result, the company gained a coherent ERP environment supporting manufacturing, warehouse and finance, ready for further growth.

The company needed to run and properly configure a production module in Business Central.

The challenge was to organize production planning and scheduling of outlets and resources. Warehouse logistics was also an important area, where it was necessary to move away from paper work to full digital support. At the same time, it was crucial to automate financial processes, especially bank integration and more efficient statement reconciliation.

Digitalization of warehouse logistics

The warehouse has undergone full digitization, eliminating paper work, reducing errors and speeding up the recording of goods.

Automation of financial processes

Banking integration and streamlined statement reconciliation have reduced the time to close accounting periods.

Standardized manufacturing processes

The production module in Business Central has helped unify BOM structures and technological processes and optimize work planning.

Business Central as a central system

The system has become the foundation for further expansion and digitization of processes, providing predictable management of production and resources.

Realizing the full potential of Business Central in production and finance has provided the foundation for further digitization.

The success of the implementation was determined by a phased approach, which allowed for the safe launch of subsequent areas of the system. Also key was the unification of production and warehouse data and processes, plus the Steel.S Poland team's openness to change and close cooperation with Intersys.
